Born in 2013 Moop’s self-produced its first album in 2017. Remaining in quartet for several years, Moop recently changed its lineup. To state this new incarnation, the band recorded a forthcoming second album: Ostara. Now in trio, with Erwin Toul on drums, William Brandy on baritone sax and Julien Coupet on guitar, Moop digs and expands its sound. The three players create an highly energetic new music full of heavy brightness and sharp edges. The three musicians share the mutual taste for a colorful sound, juxtaposed with dynamic ruptures and breaks.
