Mit „A SECOND“ zünden GONG WAH die zweite Stufe ihrer Fuzzwave-Rakete, verfeinern ihren Treibstoff mit einem Schuss bitteren Pop und einem Tropfen süßer Dunkelheit und schließen nahtlos an das überzeugende Debüt von 2020 an. Nima Davari (Drums) und Giso Simon (Bass) schieben die Songs nach vorne, die Gitarristen Thorsten Dohle, der „A SECOND“ wie schon das Debut im bandeigenen Chestnut Tree Studio produziert hat, und Felix Will liefern die atmosphärische Grundlage für den darüber schwebenden Gesang von Inga Nelke, der GONG WAH so unverwechselbar macht. Das reduziert schöne Artwork erhält beim Gatefold Cover der LP ein spezielles Die-Cut.
